Choosing The Right Golf Ball

There will always be plenty of us golfers who are using equipment that isn’t “right” for us.  I really have no business hitting a driver with a slightly open face or trying to hit a traditional 3-iron.  There is something inside of me that loves the look of certain things and I let that factor outweigh the actual benefits of changing it up.  This is probably keeping me from hitting my potential.

This is no different when it comes to golf balls.  If you don’t already know, not all golf balls are the same.  Okay, you all probably knew that, but how many of you have been correctly fitted for the right ball and actually play that ball?  There are many ways to determine which ball is right for you.  I figured I would try and gather up some of those resources and put them all in one place for us all.  Each logo below is clickable and links you to different golf ball fitting tools/information.

Bridgestone is one of the leaders in the golf ball market, especially when it comes to ball fitting.  Take a look at what they have to offer for different ways to get fit through the links below.  Once you find the right ball for you, check out our Bridgestone selection HERE.

Now I’m sure that 99.9% of you already know that Titleist is the leader in golf balls.  They make some really great products, but choosing the right one is very important if you want to get the most out of your game.  Click the images below to link to their ball fiiting information.  Here is a link to our Titleist Golf Balls.

Srixon makes some really good products.  One of their most well known products is the Z-Star Yellow’s.  If you’ve never hit one of their yellow balls, give it a try.  They are pretty awesome.  Below are some links to Srixon’s fitting information and you can find our Srixon selection HERE.

Nike Golf also is keeping up with the other powerhouse golf ball companies by producing some really nice products.  I personally love the Nike One Tour, and can’t wait to try out the 20XI-X.  Check out our selection of Nike Golf Balls.

Callaway is also a huge player in the golf ball market.  They make some of the best golf balls out there in my opinion and should definitely be considered when you are searching for your next ball.  We have several models to choose from HERETaylorMade’s ball selection ranks right up there with the rest.  The Penta series has been one of my favorites since they first arrived.  Check out our TaylorMade ball selection.

These are all good tools to help you choose the best ball for your game. Once you have played for a while, you know which models of the different brands are comparable. Once you know one brand model, the rest will fall in place, as well as other brands not listed in the article above. The key is to make an honest assessment of your strengths and weaknesses.
