Thoughts on Tiger’s WD from Players…

Tiger’s Injuries

Tiger Woods slid down to 8th in the world rankings before the Players Championship and after attempting to play with a sprained MCL, sore Achilles tendon, cramping calf, and very little practice time.  What was expecting trying to play with only 9 holes of practice in the last month and not devoting hiss normal time on the driving range?  I give him credit for trying, but he would have been better off watching from his couch resting up for the US Open in about the amount of time it takes a sprained MCL to heal.  Skip the Memorial and show up at Congressional with a healthy leg and some  short game confidence.  And oh yea, a world ranking outside the top 10.

Tech Note:

Who out there noticed Tiger switched Driver shafts at the Players from his trusty Diamana Whiteboard to the Graphite Design DI-8 he experimented with at last years Masters?
