- Other than standing in the middle of the fairway or on a tee box waiting on the people in front of me to hit, I don’t mind a relatively slow round of golf. I like being outside on a beautiful day, on perfect grass, for 4+ hours. Relaxing.
- I’m still a fan of Tiger Woods. I hope he gets his game back and beats Jack’s record. Tiger has done so much for golf.
- I wish more courses made it more penalizing when you miss the fairway. I have played too many courses where you can block it right 310 yards and it won’t hurt you, but hitting it 230 in the fairway leaves a very difficult second shot.
- Whenever they air golf on TV, I think they show WAY too much putting and not enough full shots. I understand how important putting is, but they need more full shots with some better angles.
- Without getting too crazy, I wish courses would try and do a better job monitoring course etiquette, mainly fixing divots and ball marks on the greens.
- I think technology in golf equipment is a little overrated. I’ll take a traditional looking driver over an ugly one that is “more forgiving” any day of the week. I need to get back to the basics anyways.
- I can’t decide if I love it or hate it when I play a round of golf with a person who only plays two or three times a year and they beat me by 8 strokes without even breaking a sweat.
- I usually play my best golf when I’m alone (not cheating!). How can I play that way during a normal round with three friends?
- I used to dislike Ben Crane until I watched a few of his videos (found HERE). New respect.
